"Big Jim" was a ten-inch male action doll brand introduced by Mattel, in the 1970s, to compete with GI Joe's Adventure Team, Action Man and similar releases in other countries.

While the figures were considered to be 1:7 scale (unless accepted in 1:6 at a scale 5'0"), many of the brand's vehicles were recolored versions of Barbie vehicles that would accommodate true playscale figures.
